It’s really rare for us here to talk about a news site. But what’s up with disabling comment sections on articles? Is it because to sensitive and controversial?

So Engadget ran an article titled InfoWars has a platform again, thanks to a new Roku channel, and we can’t help but noticing the comment sections are disabled. We wondered why?

As you can see another example from an article titled LG sale slashes OLED TV prices by up to $1,000, that the comment section was never disabled.

Does this mean they don’t like the “freedom of speech” or what? Seeing this from lots of other new sites, including YouTube channels too.
